Saw-Cut Loop Kit with Sealant

This kit comes with one or two tubes of sealant, depending upon the size of the loop.

The Marsh Saw-Cut Loop Kit comes in a dozen different sizes, with your choice of four lead-in lengths.

Each loop consists of #16 awg wire. Also included are backer rod to hold the loop in place and two tubes of sealant to close up the channel.

The loops are ideally suited for vehicle detection in traffic control environments such as drive-thrus or parking lots when connected to the Marsh Products 610 Loop Vehicle Detector. They are also compatible with other brands of vehicle detectors.

A concrete saw is used to cut a rectangular pattern in the concrete or asphalt. The wire is wound into the channel, topped with the backer rod and the sealant is applied to lock the loop into the pavement.

The loop is intended to be used after pavement installation; if pavement has not been poured, the Marsh Products Direct Burial Preformed Loop is more cost-effective and easier to install.
